울소재의 더블브레스티드 자켓. 2개의 사선 주머니.  외부 방수가공 처리.
왼쪽내부에 2개의 스냅버튼으로 잠그는 주머니. 전체 버튼잠금.

기본중에 기본디자인 피코트.(리퍼자켓?)
그흔한 견장이나 소매 단추나 손목 조절 루프도, 심지어 라펠을 세우고 잠그는 단추도없다. 전체 6(외부)+1(내부)개의단추로 끝.

그래도 특징이라면 일체형으로 처리된 칼라+라펠.(실밥을 뜯으면 분리가 가능 하지만 재단이 딱 맞아 떨어지게 되어 있다.)
& 방수처리 & 목뒤 안쪽에 쇠로만든 Hang loop.  

겨울옷치고는 여유있지도, 여유없지도 않는 적절한 핏.(아저씨핏?)
울, 나일론, 캐시미어의 사용으로 부드럽고 각이잘선다.(사진에 보이는 라펠연출이 전혀 무리 없이 가능하다.)

Parka in rip-stop cotton.
Developed exclusively for Stone Island Shadow Project, 2.5 layer Grid Cotton is a weatherproof 2.5-ply composite fabric.
It’s classic matte military appearance is updated with a semi- shine polyester ripstop grid.
Additionally, opening the garment reveals the performance laminate itself in high-contrast yellow.
The cotton and polyester combination allow for unique aesthetic treatment - the piece dyed black cotton is corroded away to reveal the polyester grid to striking effect.

Large detachable hood with removable wolf fur edging, that may be tightened trough drawstring and metal core.

STONE ISLAND SHADOW PROJECT was born in ‘008 as an outcome of a dialogue on design ethics and performance values between Stone Island owner and creative director Carlo Rivetti and the design team of Michaela Sachenbacher and Errolson Hugh, also known as ACRONYM®.
A platform for exploration, the Shadow project rapidly evolved into a system based program for a new generation of urban masculine apparel.
With both Stone Island’s incredible historical archive, and its unparalleled forward development resources as a starting point, ACRONYM® sought to conceive a project according to their strong technical and performance based roots. The result is a unique and unprecedented fusion.
A fresh and intelligent new light cast upon the timeless interplay of form and function. Calling the project SHADOW underlines the intimate relationship and interaction between this work and the full body of the STONE ISLAND collection.

Buoyed by the ongoing research and development of its four previous seasons, the fifth Stone Island Shadow capsule resurfaces with newfound richness and character. Holistic and truly contemporary, the collection continues its investigation of identity, use, and systems through the marriage of new aesthetics and proven technologies. A nimble and worldworthy ship whose port of call could only be the harbor of futurity that is STONE ISLAND.
Through the use of compound treatments and multiple effects, fabrics and garments are invested with uncommon dimensionality and sophistication. Surface becomes depth as the senses perceive treatment upon treatment and effect upon effect. Patterns map dynamics, treatments reveal structures, and colors deepen contrasts in a way that both obfuscates and rewards.
The strength of Stone Island Shadow is its ability to thrive at all points possible, and its resistance to being pinned down at all.

Stone Island Shadow fabrics are carefully chosen for their balance of performance technologies and the unique aesthetic treatments and values for which Stone Island has been famous since its inception.
All Stone Island Shadow fabrics work together as a part of the PARSEQ GRID, and, as such, have no attributes that hinder the functional performance of the fabric. The fabrics are all: breathable, moisture
managing (DWR) and / or wicking / skin friendly), and maintainable (stable, sustainable, and easy to care for).
